Did you miss these jobs stories ...
Get dressed up. Wait in line with 1000's. Try to hand out your resume but be turned away and told to apply on line. Get call backs from companies that are 100% commission other than that never hear from these companies again. Wonder why you spent you wasted gas money and time only to be told apply on line. I am done with this cattle call and hearing nothing. If it is you are to qualified(We can hire someone cheaper) or discrimination because your in your 40'or 50's or we ran you credit and we will not be hiring you though they will never admit to that. The employers are holding all the cards and just cherry pick leaving good employees to lose their homes cars and family. Job fairs are a farce and i am tired of the positive spin that these are supposed to make us happy with no real results. I will find my own minimum wage job without wasting my money...
What job fair makes you register before you can see the list of companies attending? What are they hiding, I wonder? Once you give them your personal information, you'll be on every sucker list out there.
