Real estate investment firm hiring up to 50

Steadfast Companies in Newport Beach, which acquires, develops and manages real estate properties, just launched a new securities and financial services division and plans to hire up to 50 people to staff it, says the division's new president.

The new division, Steadfast Capital Markets Group LLC, is just beginning to ramp up its business steadfast1which will look for investment opportunities to buy commercial, industrial and multi-residential real estate in a distressed market, says Aaron G. Cook, the newly-named president.

He says he is looking to fill a variety of positions including administrative, entry-level and experienced sales staff, financial services professionals with Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, account managers, people to do due diligence and investor relations experts. He hopes to build out the staff over the next 12 to 18 months.
